How tracking works
Real steps. Real updates.
Each status is set by our team when that step actually happens — when your documents arrive, when they're lodged with DFAT, when they come back, and when they're dispatched. We don't display live government tracking, because DFAT and embassies don't provide it.
- Paid — awaiting your documents — Payment received. Please send your documents to our intake address with your order reference.
- Documents received — Your documents have arrived and are being checked.
- Action needed from you — We need something from you before we can continue — check your email.
- With notary public — Your document is being notarised by an Australian notary public.
- Lodged with DFAT — We have lodged your request with DFAT (Australian Passport Office). DFAT processing times vary.
- Returned from DFAT — DFAT has returned your document and we have checked the certificate.
- With embassy / consulate — Your document has been submitted for legalisation. Embassy timeframes vary.
- With translator — Your certified translation is being prepared.
- Ready for dispatch or collection — Your documents are complete and ready.
- Dispatched — Your documents are on their way. Use the courier tracking number to follow delivery.
- Completed — Your order is complete.
